What is the File Replication Server?
The File Replication Server allows you to maintain a "monitored folder" on a server (we recommend the machine running mSuite), and to set a destination folder on devices for the contents of the monitored folder to be copied to.
This is a 1 way replication and should be used for publishing information to device users. This is ideal for the publication of policy and operational documents.

Configuring the File Replication Server
|1.||Expand the Configuration node in the navigation tree and select Servers and Groups. The action pane will display the configured servers.|
|2.||Right mouse click the server and select Properties from the pop-up menu.|
|3.||Select the File Replication tab. It will highlight the currently active template (by default Default File Replication Server Template). We recommend that you do not change this. Click the Configuration Wizard button - with the magic wand icon. A Welcome screen will be shown.|
|4.||On the Welcome screen, make sure that the box Run the File Replication Service is checked and then click the Next button.|
|5.||On the General Settings page, select the File Replication Areas that you want to be replicated to the devices. The File Replication Areas are created using this process Setting Up File Replication. Click Next to continue.|
|6.||On the completion page, you have the choice of saving the settings as a new template or updating the existing properties. You will normally update the existing properties - the default settings. Templates are advanced configuration and you should only use them if instructed by CommonTime support. |
|7.||Click Finish to complete the wizard.|
